Prana Yoga – Tokai and Salt River.

A special fusion of Hatha, Kundalini and Tantric Yoga honoring your body, mind and spirit. Besides the usual warming up, balancing & stretching exercises, of which many postures & exercises are based on hatha yoga, we chant, meditate & do many exercises synchronizing movement & breath, raising our kundalini energy from our root chakra to the higher chakras, transforming it into spiritual energy and preparing us for higher levels of consciousness as well as ensuring a healthy, balanced, physical, mental and emotional life.

Classes are 90 minutes and take place in Tokai on Thursdays at 6:30pm and in Saltriver on Wednesdays at 6:15pm.

Ananda Kutir Ashrama – Rondebosch East.

The spiritual lineage of Ananda Kutir begins with the 20th Century Saint H.H. Sri Swami Sivananda Maharaj, who significantly contributed to the world-wide dissemination of Yoga by teaching Integral Yoga. One of his foremost disciples, Sri Swami Venkatesananda, regularly visited South Africa and it was through his inspiration and guidance that Mother Yogeshwari began teaching Integral Yoga in 1967. In 1982 Sri Yogeshwari together with Swami Parvathiananda and a group of inspired friends formally established Ananda Kutir Ashrama.

What is Yoga Revolution and what does it have to offer? Yoga Revolution aims to bring the worldwide yoga revolution to your doorstep. It provides daily classes in two styles of yoga. These are Bihar and Power yoga (based on Astanga Vinyasa). Whereas the Bihar style of yoga is a compassionate approach to classical yoga concepts and techniques; Astanga based classes are strong; flowing sequences which are mentally and physically demanding for those who would also prefer to challenge themselves and tone their bodies. / 078 7500 377 (during office hours)
