Jessika Munnell.

Jessika has been teaching yoga for over ten years and continues to be intoxicated with the practice. She believes the yoga mat is a place to explore both physical and mental boundaries. A chance for change and growth.

Jessika encourages students to learn to practice intuitively, listening to what the body needs at the present moment rather than being dominated by the ego and forcing themselves into some “perfect” posture.  In this way, the asana practice can heal and strengthen the body and open the mind. Jessika encourages students to practice quieting the mind and experiencing the present moment. Ultimately she hopes everyone will extend the physical practice of yoga into all aspects of their life, through acts of kindness, love and compassion.

Jessika teaches Vinyasa yoga and her own hot yoga sequence, developed after many years of teaching Bikram yoga. She brings a fun and light atmosphere to her challenging classes.

Jessika was a former co-owner of yoga zone in Cape Town. She decided to expand her yoga horizons and moved to Boulder in Colorado to open a new studio. Frequent trips to Los Angeles enable Jessika to learn from some of the best Vinyasa teachers in the United States.

Andrew Gowans

Andrew’s teaching has evolved into alignment focused Vinyasa flow, reflecting his love of mindful movement. His greatest teaching influences have come from the senior teachers at Yoga Works in Los Angeles. Owning a yoga studio in Boulder, Colorado, has given Andrew the opportunity to teach in one of the yoga hotspots of the USA. His classes are physically challenging and feature a music mix that could include reggae, rock and devotional tunes.

Through his classes, Andrew’s aim is to lead students to a place of stillness. This sense of finding ones center creates the opening required to experience life as it happens.

Andrew teaches Vinyasa yoga and introductory Zen meditation courses (Zazen) at yoga life.
