Africa’s Biggest Yoga Class

November 1, 2010

Celebrating cultural diversity, health and happiness!

The Art of Living Festival is a family festival celebrating cultural diversity while promoting a healthy, holistic lifestyle. This is an all day event from 9am-6pm on Saturday, 20 November at Maynardville Park, Wynberg.

Fun and festivities include an introduction to stress elimination techniques and meditation, wholesome foods, wellness advice and treatments, all day performances from Indian dancing to drumming and live bands, and over 50 stalls selling a diverse range of goodies. Kids can enjoy a host of activities in a safe environment including face painting, yoga, a petting zoo, life skills and story telling. Bend your body and relax your mind, join us for Africa’s largest ever yoga class to be held in the morning (pre-registration necessary).

The Art of Living Foundation is a non-profit, educational and charitable organisation that operates in more than 150 countries and is dedicated to serving society by strengthening the individual. Our self-development programmes offer techniques that eliminate stress, calm the mind, improve health, expand awareness, resolve conflict and encourage people from all backgrounds, religions and cultures to come together in celebration and service.
