Find yogic qualities in nature
Autumn is my favourite season in Cape Town. The extreme heat is gone, the wind is getting less and still we can enjoy being outdoors. Look around you this autumn and experience nature and you will find a lot of yogic qualities.

Ramakrishna says:

“From the MOON I learnt about my true self. From the EARTH I learn to receive and accept whatever comes (learn the act of giving unconditionally). From the AIR (as breath – keeps life going), (only take as much as you need at this moment ), I learn that it is everywhere but it does not cling and does not get affected by anything. It is connected but not affected. From WATER I learn how to stay clear and sweet and transparent. From the SUN I learn that it is involved in most important things in life (it gives life) but it does not make a big deal out of it. From the OCEAN I learn equanimity; whatever comes its way it accepts even if no water comes from the river, the ocean is never lacking.”

Have a great autumn and keep the summer fire burning with lots of Ashtanga Yoga.

Love Ulrike
