12 November SARYTA workshops

November 1, 2011
Dear SARYTA member and all yoga-practitioner.
It is time to invite you to the last two workshops of the year.
On Saturday the 15th of October Ulrike will give us a modified Astanga workshop at Shanti.
She writes: “In the workshop we are building up to intermediate series back-bends(heart-opening postures) and therefore we will start the afternoon with a meditation on the heart chakra.
One of the questions relating to the heart-chakra is: “Do we allow others to touch us? Spiritually? Physically? Emotionally?”
“We will try and connect with the subtle sensations in the body and listen to what our heart is telling us. The heart is the centre of life. If you live with a closed heart, it is like living in death.”
When I asked her about difficult postures, she said that she will definitely give alternative postures always.
So here is an opportunity to focus on your own Yoga practice and deepen it. I have thoroughly enjoyed all Ulrike’s previous workshops. They have challenged me in new and rewarding ways.
Tamsin Sheehy will give us another one of her inspiring workshops on thw 12th of November from 11 o’clock till 13h:30 at Karma Shala.
