Feb 2012: Yoga Retreat in the Free State

Location: The beautiful and tranquil Keble Estate, a 310-hectare farm ringed by mountains in South Africa’s breathtaking Free state province, provides the perfect setting for true escape and well-being. Teacher: Qualified instructor, Carri Uranga, will be coming all the way from Philadelphia, USA to teach at our 2012 programme. Visit our Teachers page to read more about Carri.

Retreat Schedule: Our retreats usually operate on a weekly basis with yoga practiced daily from Saturday through to Thursday each week. Please contact us about shorter visits or special occasions and corporate away days. Click here to view the detailed weekly schedule.

Community Investment: For our 2012 yoga retreat programme we will be donating £5 to Schools for Africa on behalf of every guest attending one of our yoga retreats between February and March 2012. We are also currently looking for a suitable local charity to partner with for our 2012 Volunteer Days and will update this page with details shortly. Visit our Community Investment page to find out more in the meantime.

Spicy vegetable couscousFood: Our fully catered vegetarian menu is based on the principles of a proper yogic diet consisting of simple, natural and wholesome vegetarian recipes designed to leave you feeling lighter and purified.Click here to view the sample weekly menu.

Getting There: We encourage our visitors to arrange their own transport to and from Keble, however, we will be operating a weekly shuttle service to and from Johannesburg for anyone who would prefer not to drive. Visit the Getting There page for details.

Things To Do In The Area: Nestled in the shade of the Maluti Mountains, between the Orange River in the south & the Vaal River in the north, the Eastern Free State boasts a rugged mountainous and in parts densely vegetated landscape. Click here to read more about things to do in the area.
