Day 3: Yoga and Meditation Challenge at YogaSpirit

Today I did my 2nd Bikram class this week! The YS room was packed full of yogis and yoginis this Wednesday morning. We all breathed and sweated it out together. It was awesome. Afterwards, we  ‘committed to sit’ For Day 3 of the Meditation Challenge. We learnt about Dr Simon’s book, ‘Free To Love, Free To Heal‘, and the power of forgiveness. We were told to mentally recite ‘so’ on the inhale, and ‘hum’ on the exhale. We imagined breathing in goodness on the inhale, and breathing out ‘stuff that no longer serves us’ on the exhale.

Because I am the coffee yogi, I got my regular cappuccino after class. I also got a new Prana mat today! Woo hoo, excited to do many more yoga classes on my new mat :).
