jdj studios: The team behind the lens!

January 16, 2014

jdj studios is the result of the mergence of two kindred spirits in Jaletta and Alastair, they are the dynamic duo behind jdj studios, creatively combining photography and design to produce individual art pieces after every photo shoot.

Even though they have a lot in common, they each bring a different set of expertise to their design studio: Alastair brings his keen eye for detail, functionality and all things that encompass the diverse discipline of design together with his years of experience as a graphic and industrial designer.

Jaletta, on the other hand, has a strong conceptual background due to her qualifications in drama, philosophy and psychology as well as robust theatre experience that ranges from performance to directing as well as stage management. Jaletta has now taken this conceptual creativity to the dark room using her knowledge of theatrical composition and the art of human movement to really add depth to her pictures.

Together they are the yin to each other’s yang, the beer to their vegetarian pizza. They inspire each other daily, and though they are still young, they are old souls on their journey together.

jdj studios boasts a broad offering of services, including Yoga Photography, Children’s Photography, Pet Photography, Equine Photography and Dance Photography. The subjects are the inspiration behind the craft.

Be sure to capture your bliss with this fun loving, passionately talented team!
